Oh. The package RTE bought didn’t show Marketa being brought back out onstage by Jon Stewart.
Oh.
In their defence I would imagine TV buys in a package that comes from the US and they would have no idea how many people would want to see that little bit of magic. Still. It’s down here if you scroll hard enough

The package also didn’t show the winner of the short documentary…but then I’m sort of used to the queer airbrushing when it comes to the Oscars!

Actually what really disappoints me about RTÉ’s Oscar coverage is that they don’t show it live.
I used to love watching the Oscars live when it was on BBC (even though their punditry team was never really that great) but since it has gone to Sky I don’t get to see it anymore.
